Payments
At Velorbis, you can use the following payment methods:
VISA
MasterCard
Diners Club
JBL
Maestro
Bank transfer (only companies – with bank transfer you are not protected by the objection scheme)
We do not charge card fees.
Reservation of amounts on payment cards:
If you pay with an international payment card, the amount is reserved immediately. The money is reserved on your card or account until:
1) we raise the amount when we send the item (except for custom-made bicycles, see below), or
2) until the money is released according to agreement with your card issuer.
You can read more about the rules for your specific card from your card issuer.
In the case of orders for custom-made bicycles, the money is withdrawn when ordering. A custom-made bicycle is a bicycle with a delivery time of 6-10 weeks and which we produce just for you in your special colour(s), size, and component composition.
Delivery times
Non-custom-made bicycles: Our stock of bicycles is located in remote storage in Denmark and we (out)deliver as a starting point within 1-5 working days.
Custom-made bicycles: We produce your specially designed Velorbis bicycle to order in Germany and, as a rule, we deliver within 6-10 weeks.
Right of cancellation
Here we distinguish between stock bikes and custom-made bikes. The following applies to stock bikes: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us via the website. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive your item. If you have ordered several different items in the same purchase, but they are delivered individually, the deadline runs from the day you receive the last item.
The deadline means that you have 14 days from receipt to notify us that you want to cancel your purchase. You can send an email to info@velorbis.com or use the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the bottom of the trading conditions. You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the item without notifying us at the same time.
If you have ordered a custom-made bike (made to order), it is a bike we produce just for you in your special color(s), size, and component composition. When buying custom-made bicycles, there is therefore full advance payment and no right of cancellation once the order is placed.
Please note that you will not get the shipping costs back if you regret part of your purchase.
Return
Once you have notified us that you want to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us. You must pay for the package to be returned yourself, and you are liable if any damage occurs during transport.
The condition of the item when you send it back. If the item has lost value and this is because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and way of functioning of the item, you can only get a part of the purchase amount back. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases, it may mean you can only get back the shipping costs.
We recommend that you send the item back in the original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, this may lead to a decrease in the value of the item.
No right of cancellation
These purchases cannot be canceled:
• custom-made bike (made to order) – Bikes that are built using our bicycle configurator, according to your specifications or have been given a distinct personal touch
Refund of the purchase amount
If you regret your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item is impaired, we deduct the amount you are liable for.
We will refund all payments received from you, but not delivery costs (this does not apply, however, to extra delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different form of delivery than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer), no later than 14 days from the day on which we have received your message that you want to cancel the agreement. We return the money with the same means of payment that you used for the purchase unless we have agreed otherwise.
We can withhold payment until we have received the item unless you send us documentation that you have returned it.
The item is sent to:
Ride In Style ApS
Horsekær 8

VAT No. DK44117509
Email: info@velorbis.com
You can also cancel the purchase by notifying us and, only by prior arrangement, handing over the item personally to the above address.
Especially around color choices
The powder colors that can be chosen by designing your bike may differ somewhat from your computer screen/printer to the real color of the bike. We, therefore, encourage everyone who does not choose a standard black or white bike to visit our showroom in Frederiksberg or one of our service workshops. If, as expected, you cannot see the color selection at our service workshops, you must contact Velorbis. You yourself are responsible for ensuring that the color code is the correct one that you want. You can read more about the scale here: www.ral-farben.de
Right of complaint
When you shop with us as a private consumer, the rules of the Danish Purchase Act apply to the purchase of goods. This means that you have the right to complain about a faulty product or component for 24 months. ALWAYS contact us before handing in the (electric) bike with a detailed description of the problem, preferably supported by pictures and video material. If your complaint is justified, this means that you can either have the defective component repaired or replaced, depending on the specific situation.
The faulty bicycle/component must be returned to:

Advertising and Modern Marketing Tools
Velorbis may work with third-party advertisers that use cookies and similar technologies to provide more relevant advertising about Velorbis Products and Services on our websites and across the internet. To provide this “interest-based advertising”, parties combine non-personal data about your online activities over time which helps cater advertising that we deliver to you. Examples of this may include a Velorbis advertisement on a Facebook page, or a Google-owned page such as a search results page or YouTube, or on a site within Google’s advertising network. We do not share your personal information as part of this process. Where necessary, we obtain your consent for this process. At all times, you can opt out of these personalized ads from third-party advertisers and ad networks who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or who follow the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting the opt-out pages on the NAI websites and DAA websites.
