Velorbis unveils special edition e-bicycles for the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club (RREC)

The iconic bicycle brand showcased in Strive for Perfection: The Royal Edition

Copenhagen, Denmark, 8 October 2021 – Velorbis, the iconic bicycle company with a passion for excellence, craftsmanship, and individual flair, today showcased in Strive for Perfection: The Royal Edition – an official publication for the International Club for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiasts (RREC) to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s 95th birthday. Strive for Perfection is a beautifully designed coffee-table book produced by leading publisher St James’s House, written by experts, aficionados and tastemakers, and launched at Grosvenor House in London on 8 October.

To coincide with the launch, Velorbis unveiled special edition custom-made e-bicycles, created exclusively for the Club’s celebrations. The stunning bespoke e-bicycles for design connoisseurs – quintessentially classic ladies and gents models with a comfortable upright riding position – are presented in a 1984 metallic blue colour inspired by the Rolls-Royce archives, accessorised with exquisite Velorbis and Brooks leather accessories and chrome details. The specially commissioned RREC Showcase logo sits superbly alongside the Velorbis crest on the lightweight lugged steel frame, which is hand built in Germany. The Pendix eDrive300 electric system comprises a powerful 250-watt (65 Nm) center motor and an ePower300 (300 wh) rechargeable battery, also made in Germany by Ansmann. This modern, reliable system enables smooth riding for up to 79 km on one charge. The battery itself is not your typically designed battery; it discreetly blends in with the custom colour and the lines of the classic frame. A 500 (wh) battery that can take cyclists up to 120 km on one charge is also an option. There is the choice of three frame sizes for both ladies and gents models.
